A Fireworks Magazine / Rocktopia album review by John Tucker: Originally released on the band's own Sidehorn Records in 2009, Orpheus's self-titled debut has now been given a new lease of life courtesy of those nice people at the Femme Metal label. In classical mythology, it is said that Orpheus could charm anything – animate or inanimate – with his music. Although the band (one of several to use the name) can't claim to be that magical, there is a great deal of charm in what they do and as such the album does deserve this second bite of the cherry.
