A Rocktopia / Fireworks Magazine album review by Ian Johnson: 'Fall From Grace' is the second album by Canadian band Borealis, and with this new album they've taken a giant leap forward in the melodic power metal genre. Straight away what struck me about this release was the more complex song writing, plus the controlled anger and rage that the band have poured into each and every riff, melody and hook that populates this album. This musical anger immediately made me think of bands like Evergrey and Tad Morose mixed with Pagan's Mind and Symphony X, yet underlying all this angst, Borealis also brought to mind a very heavy Harem Scarem, especially in the melody department.
