A Rocktopia / Fireworks Magazine album review by Steven Reid: Having decided that he needed to move on from the confines of being one of the main songwriters in the indie pop outfit CDOASS, Alex Carole began to put together songs in an altogether harder, more power-pop-punk style. A chance meeting with The Hives drummer Chris Dangerous led to Alex giving him a demo tape he had been working on, which suitably impressed The Hives man enough to entice him to co produce this debut album with the band.
