A Fireworks Magazine / Rocktopia concert review by Mónica Castedo-López: Marco Mendoza - Olympia Conference Centre, London (UK), 12th March 2011. Although I was just attending the new London Bass Guitar Show out of curiosity, two songs in from the marvellous Marco Mendoza show and I felt urged to write a few lines to share the wonderful performance in the place. Mendoza, who played with legendary acts such as Whitesnake and Ted Nugent and still holds strong his role in Thin Lizzy, appeared courtesy of Yamaha to showcase his talent, not just as a bass player but also as the extraordinary singer he is. He is indeed a mind-blowing vocalist with a very wide register and a feel that is only comparable to that of The Voice Of Rock, Glenn Hughes and the super gifted Richie Kotzen.
