Rocktopia: In This Moment - 'A Star-Crossed Wasteland' - CD Review

The debut In This Moment CD 'Beautiful Tragedy' was, in my opinion, justifiably labelled as 'metal-core'. Sophomore release 'The Dream', one or two hard edged Maria Brink screams aside, was something of a melodic goth-metal wet dream. Though 'Beautiful Tragedy' left me a little cold at times, due in the main to the vocals, the follow-up was a beautifully crafted set of songs and something I still return to regularly now. Though totally different in approach and style, if you liked either of the first two ITM releases then you'll need to be sitting down for 'A Star-Crossed Wasteland' when you hit play. http://ping.fm/38BKo
