A Rocktopia / Fireworks Magazine album review by John Tucker: Knowing the square-rot of sod-all about Motherlode, and always liking to play review albums blind for the first couple of spins, early impressions were of a band reminiscent of the tidal wave of MTV friendly acts that flooded the metal scene in the later Eighties like Sweet FA USA, Roxy Blue, Roxx Gang etc etc -- all good in their own way but all highly generic and rather faceless.
