Rocktopia: Pat Travers Band - 'Boom, Boom - Live At The Diamond Toronto 1990' - DVD Review

A Fireworks Magazine / Rocktopia DVD review by Sue Ashcroft: Being a huge fan of Pat Travers, I was amazed that I had missed this release on video when it came out the first time around in 1991, but to be fair, it wasn't my favourite line-up, which probably explains it. The band, consisting of Travers, guitarist Jerry Riggs, Mars Cowling on bass and drummer Scott Zymowski are very tight on the songs which were relatively new at the time ('Daddy Long Legs', 'Help Me', etc.) but the real test is on the classics like 'Born Under A Bad Sign', 'Stevie' and, something of an anthem for fans - 'Snortin' Whiskey'.
