A Rocktopia / Fireworks Magazine album review by John Tucker: Four years after the exciting but bizarrely titled 'Moons And Mushrooms', Sweden's Lake Of Tears are back with 'Illwill', their eighth album since setting the ball rolling with 'Greater Art' in 1994. Although early albums were released relatively thick and fast, in recent years they've come with all the frequency of UK buses. Such lengthy gaps between albums have been frustrating for fans, certainly, but it does means that when a newie finally puts in an appearance there tends to be a shift in style and sound between it and its predecessor.
