A Rocktopia / Fireworks Magazine album review by Phil Ashcroft: The long awaited comeback album from 80s rabble-rousing party rockers Black 'N' Blue has been a long time coming, the proposed release dates going back so far that it almost rivals Guns 'N' Roses and their 'Chinese Democracy' opus for sheer procrastination. However, a change of label seems to have been the catalyst for getting it done, and with just current Kiss guitarist Tommy Thayer missing from their original line-up - vocalist Jaime St James, bassist Patrick Young, drummer Pete Holmes and guitarist Jeff 'Woop' Warner are now joined by guitarist Shawn Sonnenschein – it's a pretty recognisable Black 'N' Blue sound we have here, albeit with some modern touches.
