Rocktopia: Infinity Overture - 'The Infinity Overture' - CD Review

A Fireworks Magazine / Rocktopia album review by Ian Johnson: This is the second album by Infinity Overture, which according to the press pack sees them depart from their original sound, which was more symphonic and orchestral, to a more guitar orientated one. Having not heard the bands debut I cannot compare the two, so I will instead concentrate on this new album. Which I will say is an album of influences, by this I mean you can clearly hear the likes of After Forever, Epica (growly male vocals, I bet some of you just stopped reading), and early Within' Temptation in the music of Infinity Overture, yet they still retain their own identity by writing some wonderful music. http://ping.fm/NdSTQ
