Rounding out an encouraging batch of current releases from Avenue of Allies is the self-titled debut album from State Cows, who consist of the Swedish duo of Daniel Anderson (vocals and guitars) and Stefan Olofsson (keyboards and bass). The pair are both self-confessed Westcoast devotees and having spent time in LA becoming more familiar with the scene and spending time with some of their musical heroes they formed a Steely Dan tribute band which eventually evolved into State Cows.
