When handed this latest offering from progressive outfit the Pineapple Thief (could they be anything other than prog with a name like that!), it was with a sense of anticipation, having first encountered their work on 2008’s rather excellent 'Tightly Unwound'. By way of an introduction, the Pineapple Thief – led by singer/songwriter Bruce Soord - have been quietly establishing themselves on the circuit for the last 10 years, with a steady flow of album releases during that time, the most prominent being 'Tightly', which helped launch the Kscope label.
