After making their name signing a string of alternative hard rock bands in the nineties-Creed being the biggest-Wind-up went after the changing mainstream, evolving into a more diverse label that saw alternative rock replaced with dance rock and indie rock. Odd then that in 2010 they should sign a band that has more in common with the distant past. This album could easily have come from the labels nineties roster; fat rock riffs of the post grunge era combining with lower register vocals and the familiar melodies. Possibly the success of the Creed reunion has persuaded Wind-Up to revisit the music that made the label.
